Marc Anthony is a singer, dancer, actor, composer, producer and fashion designer born in New York and of Puerto Rican origin. With more than a dozen albums and multiple awards throughout his career, he is indisputably one of the biggest pop stars in the world and the best-selling salsa artist of all time. Since the release of Contra La Corriente in 1997 (RMM Records), he has regularly charted in the Top 200 albums and Top 10 Latin albums including El Cantante (Sony BMG Norte, 2007), 3.0 (Sony Music Latin and Columbia Records, 2013) and Opus (Sony Music Latin) with multi-platinum certification in 2019.
As an actor, he has appeared in leading and supporting roles in films such as The Substitute, Big Night and Blue in the Face. He played Héctor Lavoe on El Cantante, had a recurring role on the television series Hawthorne, and appeared in Broadway productions such as Paul Simon’s The Capeman.
While he is rightfully considered one of the great salseros to emerge from the 20th century, he continues to innovate by embracing and exploring new directions and trends in Latin music and pop; he has used principles of hip-hop, electronic music, rock, soul and trap, as in Pa’llá Voy (Sony Music Latin, 2022), winner of a Grammy and a Latin Grammy.

His talent and stable popularity have also led him to collaborate with artists such as Juan Gabriel, Olga Tañón, José Feliciano, Chayanne, Daddy Yankee, or Alejandro Sanz.
Throughout his career he has received Grammy Awards for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, Best Traditional Tropical Latin Album, and Best Latin Pop Album, among others.
